At the rear of 9 Cobourg Street is the original brick structure built by William Hepburn as a cabinetmaker’s workshop in 1884. The Garden Suite is part of the renovation of the former Rundles restaurant and overlooks a garden courtyard. Custom wallpaper based on an Elizabethan wallcloth, an ornate four poster bed, antique needlepoint carpet, mid-century Danish rosewood chairs and Scott McFarland photos are selected for this romantic garden-like suite. It is accessible from York Lane, immediately behind 9 Cobourg St.

The Garret Studio suite is part of the renovation of the former Rundles restaurant with original features retained from the original owner's suite. With its sloped ceilings, marble fireplace and tall windows with antique indoor shutters it evokes a spatious but cosy garret. it is furnished with a mix of bright mid-century furniture and a striking custom "sweater-striped" carpet, a loveseat is an eggyolk yellow felted-wood Danish design, the moulded plywood dining chairs are vintage Stratford, dating from post WW11 at the Canadian Wooden Airplane Co. The Clark McDougall painting is from the owner's collection. It has been completely refreshed and it is accessible from York Lane, immediately behind 9 Cobourg Street.

The design features from the Shim / Sutcliffe renovations have been retained and augmented with furnishings and art from Robert Lemon’s collection. The space features a vintage Yamaha concert grand piano. Available for use for private event such as recitals, lectures, private catered dinners.
Rates for the Garden Suite and Garret Studio will be available upon request. Details and rates for Lake Salon available on request. A terrace with koi pond fronts the space and is perfect for summer lunches and listening to Barge Music on Lake Victoria.
